Universal Consciousness

Oneness

Since life first emerged on Earth, countless diverse forms have evolved, yet at their core, a singular drive persists: survival of the fittest. This inherent struggle compels every being to fight for existence, even leading to the demise of others. Even the most virtuous among us inadvertently cause harm, from the microscopic organisms we breathe and consume, to the resources we exploit for clothing, shelter, health, and transport.

This fundamental, shared consciousness on Earth—the relentless will to survive, regardless of external form—might well be a universal truth. It's plausible that life on other distant planets, despite vastly different appearances, shares this identical underlying consciousness.

Even seemingly inanimate elements crucial for life's formation possess a form of consciousness. We are, in fact, imbuing consciousness into electricity and electronic devices, and in the future, they may develop self-determination. The consciousness evident in both living beings and artificial intelligence stems from a single, omnipresent, and unified consciousness throughout the universe.

Unlike the consciousness in living forms, which experiences fear, desire, happiness, sorrow, and death due to thought and ego, the consciousness inherent in inanimate forms should be free from such limitations.

Consciousness can exist independently, with or without form, with or without a world, as it requires no foundation. However, when consciousness becomes confined within a living form, it forgets its boundless, universal nature and perceives itself as limited. This confined consciousness, being a reaction of memories, cannot grasp its true, universal essence.

The universal consciousness must be thoughtless, and its manifestation within the human body creates thoughts. Since human thoughts are reactions, they cannot truly comprehend or be aware of the original universal consciousness. Therefore, it is a misconception for human consciousness, a mere reaction, to believe it is the ultimate reality (Brahman), as a reaction can never be the original.

The original consciousness is thoughtless, and human intellect's perception is a reactive process of thought. Thoughts and the thinking mind are intrinsically linked; perhaps only when they quiet can a true, thoughtless connection with the universal consciousness begin.
